McKinsey began serving clients in Egypt in 2003. In mid
2007, we opened an office in Cairo in order to be able to
serve our existing clients in Egypt and Libya more intensively,
while simultaneously working with other clients, in the
region, in close collaboration with other McKinsey offices
in MENA. Ours is an office that values intellectual rigor
and leadership qualities and we recruit people from all
over the world so as to have the right skills in place to
serve our clients. Moreover this multiculturalism helps
our teams bring a broader perspective to the work we do.

In late ’99, we opened our Dubai location to serve
clients across the GCC region (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia and the UAE). More recently we have opened
locations in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Ours is one of the
fastest growing McKinsey offices - from 5 consultants in
’99 we now have over 120 consultants. What is more,
at any given time, we have upwards of 100 consultants from
other offices working on engagements in the Middle East.
We play an increasingly vital role in the MENA region,
advising institutions in key sectors such as financial services
and banking, telecommunications, education, energy, government,
healthcare, industry and transportation. We work with our
clients to develop strategy, build new businesses, enhance
organisational structures and improve operational performances.
We use our network to bring the best problem-solvers and

WORKSHOP
McKinsey&Company will be holding a problem solving test
and workshop on Saturday 18th October.
The workshop will provide students with the opportunity
to discuss potential career opportunities and practice case
studies, prior to interviews, with McKinsey consultants.
Candidates selected to attend will be notified of its exact
location by McKinsey.
