A bit about us:
Mars Egypt is the Regional office for the North Africa and
East Mediterranean Region, made up of 16 diverse countries.
Mars Egypt has been operating in Egypt since 2001, and is
a growing business that now employs more than 160 associates.
Our most recent expansion was the establishment of our manufacturing
plant in 2004 and the launch of our locally produced brands
Galaxy and Flutes.
Mars Inc., a US$ 25 billion
business, of which Mars Egypt is part of, is a family business
established in 1911 and has been growing since then and is
operating now in more than 60 countries with more than 45,000
associates. Mars operates in four main categories: snackfood,
food, petcare, and drinks.
We are passionate about
our working environment, which is characterised by the family
spirit and engaged associates. Our Winning Environment, guided
by our five principles, is a simple expression of how it really
feels to be an associate at Mars. Individuals who work for
Mars usually do so because they are looking for something
more than just a career. They want an opportunity to learn
and grow a chance to excel and to work alongside other talented
individuals who aspire for great things in their personal
and professional lives.
Our graduate program:
We rely on new talent and believe the quality of our associates
represents one of our major competitive strengths. By unleashing
the talent of each associate we collectively prosper and flourish.
The Mars Technical Academy
aims at hiring fresh graduates into technical roles in our
Mars factory and over the span of one year rotate them across
different functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, and Research
& Development). Throughout that year the candidates will
be working on different projects with different durations
and will be going through basic and intermediate training
modules to better enable them to succeed in their jobs. At
the end of the year candidates will be taken through an assessment
exercise that will along with the feedback from their projects
and mentors decide on their future role in the business.
