McKinsey began serving clients
in the Middle East in the mid-90s. In late ’99, we
opened our Dubai Office to serve clients across the GCC
region (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the
UAE). More recently we have opened locations in Bahrain
and Saudi Arabia. Ours is one of the fastest growing McKinsey
offices - from 5 consultants in ’99 we now have over
80 consultants. What is more, at any given time, we have
upwards of 50 consultants from other offices working on
engagements in the Middle East.
McKinsey held a case study workshop at
the Four Seasons on November 11, 2006.
The session was involved practice case study sessions given
by several of the consultants. Candidates were then given
the problem solving test and if they passed were invited
for interviews.
