Psychometric & Employee Assessment

The office of Career Advising & Placement Services (CAPS) at the American University in Cairo (AUC), conducts a psychometric assessment program using Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII®) .

First designed by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katherine Briggs, the MBTI is now being used extensively by Fortune 500 companies and other organizations to help their employees become even more effective communicators in a variety of situations.

Strong Interest Inventory®

The SII® is an inventory that provides people with information about their interests and their relationship to the working world; information that will lead them to greater self-understanding and to make better decisions about the course of their lives. It reflects today's pattern of constant change in organizational settings.

You get your personalized result in the form of a computerized individual report. The report explains the strengths and needs common to your unique type and/or interests, offer suggestions for verifying type and interest codes.

CAPS training workshops reflect our commitment to the effective and ethical use of psychological tools. By combining the latest theory with case studies and practical exercises, we create experiences that are stimulating and enjoyable. Our trainers are experienced professionals who are qualified to administer and interpret the MBTI® and SII® instruments.
