Schlumberger held an Internship
Program Briefing on Wednesday, March 21st, 2007
presented by Eng. Walid Khater,
Recruiting Manager, East Africa and East Mediterranean.
More than 70 Engineering and Physics students attended the
event. The title of the presentation was “Success
without Boundaries” and it guided the students through
various career options (field engineering, petro-technical
and R&D) at Schlumberger and the departments of the
company. It also included important criteria needed for
internships and job vacancies and ended with testimonials
from engineers working in the field. The presentation also
mentioned the availability of technical and non-technical
trainings along a career in Schlumberger. The program briefing
was followed by interviews of selected candidates for the
internship.
