ABOUT THE INVESTMENT BANKING PROGRAM (IBP)
Hailed as the flagship program for graduate recruitment for the firm, the Investment Banking Program (IBP) has brought in graduates from leading universities across the region, UK and USA to the company since its inception in 2005.

Held in Cairo, the IBP is a 12-week, full–time intensive training program starting in the summer, aimed at developing high caliber financial professionals who will become part of our various business lines across the region.

The program covers various topics including Financial Statement Analysis and Modeling, Corporate Valuation, Introduction to Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, Sukuk and Securitization, Fixed Income and Derivatives, Asset Management and Alternative Investments amongst others.

APPLICATION CRITERIA/ PROCEDURE
The successful candidate will be a highly competent, motivated and team-oriented individual. He/she will be able to work under pressure in a hardworking and entrepreneurial group and will be committed to proving him/herself and will have a keen interest in developing a career with EFG-Hermes.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering, coupled with strong interest in the field
  • No more than 2 years professional experience in a related field
  • Strong writing and spreadsheet skills
  • An analytical and flexible mind set
  • Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
